Transforming Lives Since 2001
The Beginning
In 2001, our founder, David Ranzoni, traveled for the first time from his hometown of Paris, France, to Lima, Peru.
There he met his future wife, Sheilla, who volunteered with various ministries that delivered medicine and food to orphans and abused children. She invited him to join her volunteer team so he could see firsthand the needs and conditions in which the children lived.
Our NGO is born
In 2003, David returned to Paris and founded the NGO, where he began fundraising and advocating for children in Peru. Thanks to the great generosity of many people, the French NGO has been able to support various projects in Huaycán, Salamanca, Cedes, and Rímac for 15 years, providing financial assistance for the construction of an orphanage, Christmas gifts, medical care, and food.
Growth
In 2017, David, Sheilla, and their three children moved to Lima, Peru, and in 2020 their NGO, Un Corazón Para Ellos (A Heart for Them), was officially recognized by the government, with two major pilot programs underway. The first, Futuro y Esperanza (Future and Hope), aimed to provide food to low-income families. The second program involved building an orphanage for children at risk of abuse.
